Role OverviewThis position will be filled as a Relay Technician I, II, III or Sr based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. The technician will perform work required for construction, installation, maintenance, and testing of all types of equipment used in the communication, control, and protection of electrical transmission and distribution lines, substations, and generating station equipment.
What You Will Do
Installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, altering, removing, or replacing equipment or devices used in the protection, operation, or maintenance of circuit breakers, voltage regulators, transformers, generators, associated communication facilities, and other related equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have switching certification, successful completion of the EEI TECH test, and experience with relay calibration, relay functional checks, AC testing, CT testing, and RTU (SCADA) programming.
Requirements
