Role Overview

The selected candidate will provide reliability engineering support by administering FRACAS processes, reviewing and resolving trouble/failure reports, performing structured root cause analysis (RCA), driving corrective actions to verified effectiveness, and developing required reliability/quality documentation in accordance with program and contract requirements.

What You Will Do

Administer all aspects of the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process, review and evaluate trouble, problem, and failure reports, lead investigations and perform RCA, develop corrective action plans and track corrective actions through closure.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 year’s of related experience
  • Demonstrated FRACAS experience supporting reliability improvement in a production/test or field reliability environment
  • Strong RCA skills and ability to translate findings into actionable corrective actions
  • Proficiency with reliability/quality tools and concepts (failure mode taxonomy, FMEA logic concepts, corrective action effectiveness verification)
  • Strong technical writing skills for RCA and closure documentation
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools (spreadsheets and basic statistics/trend analysis)
  • Familiarity with reliability documentation standards commonly used in defense programs (as required by the contract)
