Role Overview

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide reliability engineering support by administering FRACAS processes, reviewing and resolving trouble/failure reports, and performing structured root cause analysis (RCA). The selected candidate will work on-site and be responsible for developing corrective action plans and tracking them through closure.

What You Will Do

Administer all aspects of the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process, review and resolve trouble, problem, and failure reports, lead investigations, and develop corrective action plans.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of related experience, demonstrated FRACAS experience, strong RCA skills, and proficiency with reliability/quality tools and concepts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 year’s of related experience
  • Demonstrated FRACAS experience supporting reliability improvement in a production/test or field reliability environment
  • Strong RCA skills and ability to translate findings into actionable corrective actions
  • Proficiency with reliability/quality tools and concepts (failure mode taxonomy, FMEA logic concepts, corrective action effectiveness verification)
  • Strong technical writing skills for RCA and closure documentation
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools (spreadsheets and basic statistics/trend analysis)
  • Familiarity with reliability documentation standards commonly used in defense programs (as required by the contract)
