Role OverviewA Relief Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. The role involves ensuring vehicle safety standards, adhering to company, state and federal regulations, and completing vehicle condition reports.
What You Will Do
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections, safely operate the truck, read route sheets, follow maps, and service customers. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste, and clean areas around accidental waste spills.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have good customer service skills, time management skills, and the ability to adhere to company policies and rules. Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks is preferred.
