Role Overview

We are seeking a senior attorney with at least 15 years of experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation to join our leading global law firm's Product Liability practice. The successful candidate will manage sophisticated litigation matters with a high degree of autonomy and work with clients across cutting-edge industries.

What You Will Do

Manage complex products liability and commercial litigation matters, defend product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers in high-stakes litigation, draft briefs and other litigation documents, and oversee document collection and review.

They will also have experience drafting briefs, managing document collection, and analyzing causation and failure-related issues.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • At least 15 years of legal experience
  • Products liability or commercial litigation experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
  • Strong case management skills and ability to take ownership of matters
  • Experience drafting briefs, correspondence, and responses to written discovery
  • Experience managing document collection, review, and production
  • Experience with causation and/or failure analysis
  • Experience with multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
  • Active bar membership in the state where the candidate resides and in Washington or California required
