Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Designer/Engineer for construction engineering design firm of homes across North Carolina. This position will involve designing and engineering structural elements of single-family homes, collaborating with clients and builders, and conducting site visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year institution
  • 3-5 years of experience, including familiarity with relevant codes (NCRC, NDS, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze and design with wood, concrete, masonry, and steel
  • Proficient in reading and producing construction documents, AutoCAD, and CAD standards
  • Knowledge of home architectural design is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Structural design and calculations expertise
