Renewable Development Engineer

As a mid-level Renewable Development Engineer in the Renewable Development group, you will be the primary liaison for development, bid support, and/or preliminary (0%-30%) PV, BESS and Wind design. Design work between internal Operations and Sales stakeholders, and external stakeholders (e.g., Clients).

What You Will Do

Designs PV, BESS and Wind projects in all areas of the US. Acts as a liaison between the solar design team and relevant internal and external stakeholders. Delivers preliminary PV, BESS and/or Wind design (0-30%).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred
• 2 – 6 years of relevant engineering or field experience
• FE, PE is a plus, but not required
• Experience with energy modeling using PVsyst
• Experience with AutoCAD and preferred PVCase
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Project
• Basic understanding electrical and civil engineering with specific emphasis on PV solar
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers and internal personnel; exercises strong intrapersonal skills.
