Role Overview

The Renewables Engineering Co-op will assist the Engineering Manager in providing technical support for the ethanol plant, supporting activities related to design, modification, and operation of process equipment.

What You Will Do

The co-op will work with operations and maintenance personnel to provide optimization, troubleshooting advice, and technical guidance, preparing justification, cost estimates, and other project documents.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biosystems Engineering or related engineering major
  • A minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the intern/co-op program
  • Graduation date on or after the end of the intern/co-op program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale
