Role Overview

The Repair Technician tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic components and systems, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Works on Low Voltage power electronics and components up to 120 volts. Maintains technical competency and follows safety and work rules.

What You Will Do

Troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic components and systems. Process, test, and prepare for shipment. Prepare repair reports and estimates. Complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics
  • Two years of college in related electronics coursework
  • Three to five years of repair/service-related experience
  • Ability to operate electronic testing equipment
  • Ability to solder and remove components
  • Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
