Job Description
The Maryland Department of Human Services is seeking a Director, Policy and Training to direct, review, analyze, interpret, develop, and implement all policy, regulations, legislation, communications, publications, forms, and training efforts administered by the Child Support Administration (CSA).

Requirements

  • Directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of up-to-date legislation, regulations, policy, and training for all CSA programs.
  • Directs the maintenance of current, accurate, and federally approved state plan and amendments for the Maryland child support program on file with the federal Office of Child Support Services.
  • Interprets federal/state laws, developing written regulations, policies and procedures for working with other DHS agencies to administer public assistance programs in Maryland.
  • Ensures the Maryland Child Support Guidelines are reviewed every four years as required by federal regulation.
