Job Description
The Reproductive Health Services Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Reproductive Health Services at the Office of School Health (OSH). Primary responsibilities include monitoring and support of all Adolescent Health Unit school-based health education activities, developing and implementing training and technical assistance to support reproductive health services in SBHCs and other school-based programs, and conducting site visits to evaluate reproductive health and health education services and Quality Performance Indicators.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
  • Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and three years of responsible full-time research experience
  • Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required in the above
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above
  • At least a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience described in the above
  • Ability to support SBHC teams in applying evaluation results, performance indicators, and best practices to strengthen reproductive health services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking; ability to interact with interdisciplinary leadership including medical directors, hospital administrators, NYCPS principals and school leadership
  • Ability to perform quality assurance, monitor compliance with contracted scope of services, and provide feedback to sponsors on status of performance
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
