Job Description
The R&D Scientist III plays a critical role in driving experimental execution and innovation within NGS platforms for diagnostic enhancements, requiring advanced skillsets in experimental design, data interpretation, and technical documentation.
Requirements
Design and perform specific experiments in support of R&D projects in NGS, Molecular, Cytogenetics or Biochemical Genetics platforms.
Work with clinical team to validate and transfer tests to clinical diagnostic workflows
Work with Product Development Team to plan and execute R&D strategies
Assist with laboratory training and education of external team
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Perform clinical tests as needed after proper training
Prepare validation materials for review in adherence to regulatory agencies and requirements
Conduct routine lab duties as assigned by supervisor/manager/lab director
