Role OverviewThis position will support a team developing a Tiny Animal Scavenger Hunt for visitors in several Field Museum galleries. The project will highlight how the anatomy and physical characteristics of small animals provide insight into evolutionary adaptations and life at a small scale.
What You Will Do
Use provided CT Scans to create interactive 3D models for visitor access through QR codes, develop interpretive text, and create a visitor-friendly map showing where to find each 3D model QR code.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D imaging and/or modeling, foundational knowledge of vertebrate skeletal and skull anatomy, and the ability to work independently and meet established project timelines.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
- Coursework or training in biology and/or visual science communication is preferred
- Experience with 3D imaging and/or modeling using Blender or similar software
- Foundational knowledge of vertebrate skeletal and skull anatomy

- Natural history illustration experience preferred
