Role OverviewThe Research Assistant I will work in Dr. Corey Allard's laboratory at Harvard Medical School, supporting diverse experiments using unusual organisms. The role involves animal care, water quality, experimental support, and basic laboratory tasks.
What You Will Do
Handle daily tasks related to animal care and research support, conduct and analyze experiments, and perform other routine tasks such as assisting with inventory and maintaining general lab organization.

Requirements
- College background or equivalent work experience
- At least one-year related lab experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with prior experience in a wet lab environment

- Experience in aquaculture or care of marine organisms
- Experience in water quality testing
- Experience or willingness to work with animals
- Analytical skills to resolve problems
- Creativity, flexibility, and perseverance to troubleshoot and overcome experimental difficulties
