Job Description
Works under general direction to plan, coordinate, supervise, and participate in assigned research projects or perform more complex research assignments requiring considerable experience and thorough knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of medical or scientific research. This role combines research support with strong administrative and organizational responsibilities to advance the mission of the Department of Surgery’s Basic Research Science office.

Requirements

  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination for departmental leadership
  • Serve as a liaison to all surgical research laboratories
  • Monitor laboratory compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements
  • Support the development of materials highlighting departmental research activities and needs
