Job Description
As a Research Assistant II in the Surgery department at UT Southwestern, you will work on research projects related to musculoskeletal repair, regeneration, and fibrosis, supporting bench and animal work, and assisting with molecular techniques, animal handling, and downstream processing. The role requires strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, with opportunities for training and growth within the lab. You will work under the supervision of Dr. Robert Tower, Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with coursework in the field of assignment
  • 1 year of experience as Research Assistant I or equivalent with a Master's degree
  • or 2 years of experience including one year as Research Assistant I or equivalent with a Bachelor's degree
  • or 5 years of experience including one year as Research Assistant I or equivalent with two years of college
  • or 7 years of experience including one year as Research Assistant I or equivalent with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
