Job Description
The Research Assistant will coordinate and conduct research with children, manage a database of families, recruit families for laboratory studies, and assist with lab-related tasks. The position is a 100% grant funded and fixed-term position for one year with the possibility of renewal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, or related field is required
  • 1–2 years of related research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong background in conducting statistical analyses in R and/or Python, and computer programming or web development skills are strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Takes initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in working with children
  • Very responsible, good time management skills
  • Administrative experience and experience working with children is preferred
