Role OverviewThe Research Associate III is primarily responsible for evaluating biotechnology therapeutic pipelines and competitive landscapes by analyzing data presentations and scientific literature, performing financial modeling, and providing organizational support to the senior level Research Analyst. The ideal candidate possesses high-level knowledge of oncology and/or immunology concepts. The role requires the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner both orally and in writing.
What You Will Do
Conduct proprietary research to evaluate drug pipelines by analyzing scientific literature, attending medical conferences, and speaking with key opinion leaders. Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and drug revenue models. Written contribution to research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, and company news.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the biomedical STEM field, Masters or higher degree in relevant field preferred
- 4 years of experience in biotech equity research or oncology focused healthcare consulting
- SIE, Series 63, 86, and 87 expected to be obtained upon hire
