The role involves cell line maintenance, antibody production, and various equipment maintenance and tracking.

Requirements

  • Cell line maintenance
  • Antibody production and purification
  • Plasmid purification and maxiprep
  • Occasional ELISA
  • Various equipment maintenance and tracking
  • Run experiments, assays, and record results
  • Read and follow experimental protocols
  • Compile and communicate results
  • Follow University safety protocols
  • Perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions
  • Prepare and operate equipment in experimental procedures
  • Maintain and repair equipment
  • Ensure Laboratory is prepared for experiments
  • Maintain inventories
