Role OverviewThe Research Billing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the clinical trial billing, collection and reconciliation process as well as assisting in the day-to-day department finance operations. What You Will Do
A day in the life of a Research Billing Specialist includes: invoicing and tracking payments from clinical trial sponsors, performing payments reconciliation, processing payment requests, serving as a financial resource, utilizing CTMS or Financial software, attending finance meetings, and troubleshooting internal department billing processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Sciences or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with billing/coding and/or financial/business operations
- Experience with billing and collection processes
- Ability to analyze complex situations and identify solutions
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor and relationships with team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
