Role Overview

The Research Coordinator I will play a key role in coordinating a study focused on the effects of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) on adolescent height growth suppression. This project is part of a new research project in the lab of Dr. Chadi Calarge. The Research Coordinator I will be responsible for preparing necessary research documentation, managing participant recruitment, and conducting research visits and data collection, among other essential duties.

What You Will Do

Develop and prepare research materials, administer surveys, prepare and submit Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, review patient lists, screen potential participants, schedule and conduct in-person research visits, coordinate necessary procedures, organize and maintain accurate records of study data, conduct data quality checks, assist with literature reviews, and contribute to manuscript preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, three years of relevant experience, and bilingual (Spanish) fluency. The role may require travel to other locations, and occasional work outside of standard business hours.
