Job Description
Gridware is seeking a Research Engineer to develop and operate the analytical infrastructure for a new product that expands Gridware’s edge grid monitoring and observability platform. The ideal candidate will have deep physical intuition for the behavior of mechanical systems and experience with scientific computing, exploratory data analysis, and clear technical communication skills.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a closely related field
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics
  • Scientific computing skills
  • Experience with exploratory data analysis
  • Clear technical communication and documentation skills
