The Research Intern will provide research and administrative support to the Government Relations team, tracking legislative and executive developments, attending congressional hearings, and assisting with event planning.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or current student working towards a degree in political science, international relations, economics, government relations, history, or related fields
  • Prior experience working on Capitol Hill or in a research environment
  • Demonstrated interest in and comprehensive understanding of the structure of the US government and current US policies on major foreign-policy issues
  • Experience working independently, managing time wisely, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong research, writing, editing, and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, public-speaking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
