Job Description
The Research Laboratory Director is responsible for the overall operation and administration of a research laboratory, including the employment and training of personnel and assuring compliance with regulations. The director will also identify new sources of revenue for the program and represent the research program and institution in a professional way.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) (Required) Or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) In a scientific discipline (Required)
  • 3 years of progressive, specialized experience in a field of research; demonstrated record documenting excellence in research and teaching (Required)
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image (Required)
  • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required)
  • An effective educator who is willing to share information and serve as a mentor (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable (Required)
  • An articulate team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide constituency (Required)
  • Qualified to be appointed to Research Faculty position (Required)
