Role OverviewThe Research Pharmacist will be responsible for the provision and oversight of pharmacotherapy for research patients. The focus for this position is the support of clinical trial research conducted by the University of Miami.
What You Will Do
The Research Pharmacist will monitor and supervise the operation of the intravenous admixture program, prepare and deliver injectable chemotherapy and other medications, and provide current and accurate drug information to health care professionals and patients.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the pharmacy computer system and software programs, and be able to manage the preparation and review of investigational drug products.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Completion of a Post-Graduate Residency Preferred
- Licensed as Florida Registered Pharmacist
- Certification in relevant specialty or field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience required
