Job Description
The Research Safety Assistant will assist EHRS with activities to help maintain compliance, including emergency irrigation testing, delivery of labels and signage, and safety equipment record maintenance.

Requirements

  • Coordinate and schedule access to laboratories with lab managers and Building Administrators
  • Perform annual testing of emergency irrigation equipment for compliance with OSHA and ANSI Z358.1
  • Barcode equipment and provide signage
  • Submit work orders for equipment, if necessary
  • Input records into database
  • Deliver EHRS signage and labels as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed
