Role Overview

Join our Large Molecule Assay Development team within Research and Breakthrough Innovation at Elanco. This laboratory-based position is focused on the development, validation, and execution of ligand-binding assays (LBAs) to quantify monoclonal antibodies and other protein therapeutics in biological matrices.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and optimize ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Gyros) for the quantification of monoclonal antibodies in various biological fluids. Perform fit-for-purpose bioanalytical methods according to internal SOPs and global regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
  • M.S. with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • B.S. with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, validating, and running ligand-binding assays (LBAs)
  • Strong understanding of the principles of pharmacokinetics for biologic drugs
  • Proficiency with common immunoassay platforms, with ELISA experience as a minimum
