Job Description
The Levi laboratory is seeking a Research Scientist to join the team and contribute to ongoing bench and animal work related to skin injury. The Research Scientist will support image analysis and histologic analyses, and integrate data with machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree with major coursework in optics or equivalent
  • 5 years research experience in optics or equivalent, including 2 years at Senior Research Associate or equivalent
  • Experience with coding, MATLAB, and Python
  • Experience with molecular histologic bench work, pig models, and human tissues
  • Experience with image analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence algorithms
  • Experience with histology, immunofluorescent stain, and confocal imaging
  • Experience with animal research in pigs and human skin research
  • Experience with optical imaging and histology pipeline
