Job Description
Calibr is a nonprofit translational research institute dedicated to creating the next generation of medicines. The Research Scientist job responsibilities include developing lab-scale synthetic, analytical and formulation projects, and delivering high quality compounds in support of Calibr's preclinical drug discovery programs.

Requirements

  • PhD in chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, synthetic chemistry, bio-organic chemistry or related field
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing structure-activity development
  • In-depth knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and pharmacokinetics
  • Familiarity with common isolation methods including crystallization (batch and continuous mode), filtration and drying
  • Hands on experience including but not limited to the following analytical methods: RP-HPLC, UV-Vis; HR-MS, LCMS-QTOF, XRD and other analytical methods
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
