Job Description
The ADAM Lab at Rice University is recruiting a full-time Research Specialist to conduct human subjects research using behavioral and neuroimaging techniques. The Research Specialist will assist with the execution and administration of ongoing research projects and maintain a clean and organized lab space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in one of the major sciences
  • 1+ year of experience in research work
  • Statistical, graphical analysis, and/or computer programming skills (MATLAB, Python)
  • Excellent scientific and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team environment, participate actively, and collaborate with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex instructions
  • Knowledge of best practices for a research lab
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
