Role OverviewAssists with research studies, experiments, and assays in a laboratory environment, including data collection, preparation of solutions, and equipment setup and maintenance. Works in a team to understand surveillance processes of the immune system and sabotage mechanisms used by pathogens. Uses protein biochemistry, x-ray crystallography, and computational biology to determine protein structures and interactions.
What You Will Do
Performs data entry, maintains data files, prepares tissue cultures, and complies with safety procedures. Ensures lab conditions and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.

The ideal candidate will have up to one year of experience in a laboratory setting and possess skills in communication, detailed reports, laboratory instrumentation, laboratory research, protein biochemistry, and software programs.
