Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a motivated Research Technician II / Research Assistant I to support studies in RNA biology, RNA chemical modifications, and mechanistic biochemistry in the broader field of gene regulation and cancer biology.

Requirements

  • Perform molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA purification, PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis)
  • Assist with protein expression and purification
  • Conduct RNA biochemistry experiments, including in vitro transcription and enzymatic assays
  • Prepare reagents and maintain organized laboratory records
  • Assist with data analysis and documentation
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure compliance with safety regulations
