Job Description
The position of Research Technician II, Cell Biology is available in the Mark Lab, a biomedical research laboratory within the Department of Cell Biology. The ideal candidate will support research projects focused on understanding how protein posttranslational modifications contribute to disease using various human cell lines as a model. The candidate will receive hands-on training on experimental techniques in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology.

Requirements

  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet computer skills
  • Efficient organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate record keeping, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently
  • Prior experience in flow cytometry, mass spectrometry or genomics is a plus
