Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Research Technician II to support one or more clinical/postdoctoral fellows with their research projects. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive professional with a strong background in laboratory techniques and practices. Responsibilities include genotyping of the lab's mouse colony, breeding cages, and data analysis, as well as cell culture experiments and collaborating with supervisors on scientific papers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree With major coursework in field of assignment
  • Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • No experience required with Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with two (2) years of college
  • 4 years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School Graduation or GED equivalent
