Job Description
As a Research Technician II, Pediatrics, at UT Southwestern, you will work under minimal supervision to provide technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of techniques and practices related to a particular field of science. You will collaborate with experimental and clinical labs to study biological and biomedical problems related to TSG syndrome-associated developmental abnormalities and tumorigenesis, as well as the role of neural stem cells and tumors in the nervous system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience/Biology/Genetics, or other medical research-related field
  • Research experience in cancer biology, single-cell genomics, and childhood diseases
  • Attention to detail, time management, effective communication skills, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
