Job Description
Role Overview

Works under minimal supervision to provide responsible technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of science. Collaborates with experimental and clinical labs to study biological and biomedical problems related to TSG syndrome-associated developmental abnormalities and tumorigenesis.

What You Will Do

Performs routine scientific and medical research work, assembles and/or operates laboratory equipment, records research data, and assists in collection of data for project reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal applicants have a BS degree in Neuroscience/Biology/Genetics/ or other medical research related, with research experience in cancer biology, single-cell genomics and childhood diseases desirable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree With major coursework in field of assignment and no experience
  • Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • No experience required with Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with two (2) years of college
  • 4 years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School Graduation or GED equivalent
