Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Research Technician II to provide technical assistance in the performance of scientific research work in molecular or cell biology. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision and be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including operating and maintaining equipment, recording research data, and assisting in collection of data for project reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in field of assignment and no experience
  • Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent
  • Plan for, and provide working supervision to, work of laboratory personnel of lower grade engaged in limited phase of research project
