Job Description
Research Technician II, Surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Supports daily operations and hands-on research in the Wang Lab. Key responsibilities include maintaining mouse colonies, performing PCR genotyping, and recording data. Ideal candidate has experience with cell culture or organoids, molecular biology techniques, mouse handling and genotyping, strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in field of assignment or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • No experience required with Bachelor's Degree or
  • 2 years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with two (2) years of college or
  • 4 years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School Graduation or GED equivalent
