Job Description
Works under minimal supervision to provide responsible technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of science. Supports daily operations and hands-on research in the Wang Lab led by Dr. Sam Wang (Department of Surgery).

Requirements

  • Maintain mouse colonies, perform PCR genotyping, and record data
  • Assist with in vivo studies (tumor implantation, monitoring, testing therapies)
  • Perform molecular biology assays (DNA/RNA extraction, Western blotting, qPCR, IHC)
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and regulatory paperwork
  • Coordinate daily lab operations and equipment maintenance
  • Onboard and train new lab members
