Job Description
The Hematology Research Unit Laboratory is seeking a Research Technologist to join our team. The preferred candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Processes mainly blood and bone marrow samples from generous study participants in a sterile environment according to established Standard Operating Procedures
Properly prepares derivatives for immediate distribution and appropriate long term storage
Meticulously collects and enters data for each submission into tracking database
Communicates consistently with the team to assess the changing priorities as samples arrive for processing
May pull samples from long term storage upon the request of Investigators
May perform some assignments independently based on the needs of the lab
