Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking one (1) Researcher 3 in the Tax Equalization - Research and Statistics Division. The position is for current Taxation employees. The Researcher 3 will develop statistical programs to analyze property tax equalization data, assist in developing programs and problem-solving strategies, and provide information on real property assessment and taxation.

The ideal candidate will have 24 months of training or experience in planning and conducting research studies, or equivalent experience as a Researcher 2. The candidate will also have technical skills in research, statistics/mathematics, and record management, as well as professional skills in time management and analysis.
Requirements
- 24 months of training or experience in planning and conducting research studies using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques
- Preparing reports, records, and/or technical evaluations related to research conducted
- 12 months of experience as a Researcher 2
- Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
