Role OverviewThe University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Researcher to join the team. This position will support the Basu Research Lab in the UAB Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. The Basu Program leads innovative translational and interventional clinical research on whole-body and regional carbohydrate, lipid, and hormone physiology in human volunteers, with or without prediabetes and diabetes.
What You Will Do
As a Researcher, you will play a key role in driving scientific discovery by independently leading and executing research projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to grant writing and securing funding for future research.

Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field
- Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of related experience
- Associate's degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience
- High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience
