Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Med – Nephrology, is recruiting a dedicated Researcher Senior to join their team.

Requirements

  • Independently develop, optimize and execute experimental plans.
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate the data resulting from the experiments.
  • Make recommendations based on current knowledge and generated data that will serve as the basis for future research project development.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently as a lead scientist and/or collaborator.
  • Serve as a lead researcher with minimal supervision and provide technical leadership and consultation to other lab members, graduate students and collaborators.
  • Experience with general cell and molecular biology principles and techniques.
  • Experience with animal work, specifically mice.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and other data analysis tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
