Role OverviewThe Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents of the community. Reports incidents and maintains knowledge of policies and procedures. Assists with daily living tasks, housekeeping, and activity programs.
What You Will Do
Perform housekeeping duties, assist residents with daily living tasks, respond to emergency alerts, and assist with activity programs. Check on residents, report status, and communicate with residents and staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to remain calm and competent during emergencies, communicate effectively, and work well with all levels of personnel. Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completed approved personal care aide program
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel
- CPR/First Aid certification
