Role OverviewThe Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents of the community.
What You Will Do
Assist residents with activities of daily living, perform housekeeping duties, respond to resident calls for assistance, and assist in planning and conducting activity programs.

Must be able to remain calm and competent during emergencies, communicate verbally and in writing, and be a contributing member of the nursing team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completed approved personal care aide program
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel
- Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs
- CPR/First Aid certification
