Role OverviewThe Resident Assistant Park Manager is responsible for the administration of the park unit, including fiscal and purchasing procedures, visitor services, resource management, maintenance, and protection. The incumbent must be aware of and abide by the Department's Standards of Conduct and departmental rules, directives, policies, procedures, and/or general orders.
What You Will Do
The Resident Assistant Park Manager will participate in employee training, supervision, and discipline, supervise staff in fiscal and purchasing procedures, and ensure property procedures and policies are applied. They will also coordinate work schedules and assignments, check reports, and provide visitor services.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building maintenance and construction, basic arithmetic, equipment maintenance and operation, and park service management and operations. They must be able to supervise people, determine work priorities, assign work, and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
