Role OverviewUnder general direction, supervise the operation and maintenance of properties of the Housing Authority. This includes supervising skilled and semi-skilled employees in major repair programs, implementing established procedures, establishing work schedules, and developing job instructions to maintain and/or improve agency standards. The position may utilize computers and perform related work.
What You Will Do
Examples of typical tasks include scheduling and supervising the care, cleaning, and policing of public spaces within Housing Authority buildings and grounds, supervising the maintenance of facility services, inspecting work of maintenance contractors, and supervising the repair and adjustment of structures and equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have five years of supervisory experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of large tenanted buildings, with three years of experience in responsible charge of properties having not less than seven maintenance and operations employees.
Requirements
- A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
- Five years of supervisory experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of large tenanted buildings
