Role Overview

The Resident Care Assistant will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. This includes routine personal care, recreational programming, housekeeping, and meal service. The Resident Care Assistant will support the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.

What You Will Do

Daily tasks will include carrying out a daily plan of care, executing daily activities for residents, serving and assisting residents with meals, and monitoring residents' general medical condition. The Resident Care Assistant will also maintain current and accurate records, inform the Health and Wellness Director of supply and equipment needs, and attend all-employee and departmental meetings.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the English language, be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, and be able to walk and stand continuously. The Resident Care Assistant will also need to be able to bend, squat, and twist on a frequent basis.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • STNA/CNA (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the English language sufficient to read, write and interpret administrative information
