Role Overview

The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for managing care of all residents, providing oversight of staff, and communicating with medical professionals and families. They ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, and foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the community.

What You Will Do

The Resident Care Coordinator will ensure all residents are evaluated prior to residency, communicate with residents and family members, and participate in care conferences. They will also be responsible for screening, hiring, and supervising staff, and verifying associate hours on time cards.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone. Prior supervisory/management experience and experience in assisted living or memory care are preferred.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to this position
  • Prior supervisory/management experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in assisted living or memory care
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Applicable state certifications such as CHHA/CNA, Med-Tech
