Role Overview

The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of resident care and staffing necessary to meet the needs of all residents. They will communicate with community healthcare professionals, recruit and develop care providers, and maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include communicating with healthcare professionals, recruiting and developing care providers, and maintaining a safe environment. The Coordinator will also participate in the community's resident assessment program and assist the Health Services Director in coordinating incidental medical care.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
  • Ability to effectively train staff.
  • Flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of start date.
